| Carlene Shuler Brown has been painting since 1965. She is a member of the South Carolina Watermedia Society and has been a member of the Anderson Artist Guild since 1972. She is a past President of the Anderson Artist Guild.
She has studied under several professional artists and has won numerous awards for her paintings over the years. Her paintings are included in many private collections and businesses in the area, as well as other locations around the United States. Carlene does commissioned work, ranging from watercolor paintings of people's homes or businesses and things special to them, to acrylic and ink stained paper collages, using a theme and colors to match their decor. She also does framing at her Gallery, specializing in color and design, and will help you choose the perfect mat and frame for your art...using acid free materials. Carlene has a studio where she teaches classes in watercolor painting, drawing and acrylic collage. She also teaches at the Anderson Arts Center.
