| My wife Karen amd I relocated here from Murrysville in Western Pennsylvania. Graduating from Clarion University with a B.S. in Education and Art, Inglese started his career in the East Suburban Art League of Pittsburgh, establishing himself in both sculpting and painting, primarly in acrylics and oils. Continuing his graduate work at Penn State University, Inglese moved from the realistic to the abstract/non objective genre', leaning more towards the mediums of plaster and bas relief. He developed his own unique method of working with plaster that creates unusual depth and dimension. He also experimented with batik amd burlap as his interest in color and texture grew. Inglese experiments with new mediums and techniques that extend his innovativeness to continually change his artistic works and ideas.
Upon moving to Greenwood with his wife Karen, Dick joined the Greenwood Artists Guild where he is the current treasurer. Dick is also a member of the Anderson Artist's Guild. Dick has taught several private art classes while in Greenwood along with having a one man show at the Greenwood Genetic Center. He has also taught several classes at Lander University in Greenwood.
